BOB Mission exists for one reason: every child in Baja California deserves a Bible with their name written inside it.
The mission
BOB Mission — Baja Orphanage Bibles — is a volunteer-driven ministry dedicated to placing personalized, vibrant Spanish-language Bibles in the hands of orphaned and at-risk children throughout Baja California, Mexico.
We believe that every child, regardless of circumstance, deserves to know they are seen, known, and loved. Writing a child's name inside their Bible is a simple act — but it carries a profound message: this book is yours, and so is the God who wrote it.
We partner with local orphanages, mobilize trip teams from churches and communities across the United States, and equip support teams to fund, pray, and spread the word. Together, we are putting Bibles in the hands of children who need them most.
What we believe
Every child is known by name
We write each child's name in their Bible because names matter. To be named is to be seen. To be seen is to be loved.
The Word is alive
We believe the Bible is not just a book — it is the living Word of God, and it has the power to transform a child's life from the very first page.
Community makes it possible
No single person or church can do this alone. BOB Mission is built on the generosity and faithfulness of a community that believes together we can reach every child.
Action over intention
We don't just talk about the mission — we get in the van, cross the border, and put Bibles in children's hands. Faith without works is not enough.
